Comments

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Face Data
To register as a voter, Motamot asks you to take a photograph of your face.
We use this for one purpose only: to confirm that the person signing in is the member who registered. It is never used for any other purpose.
WHAT WE COLLECT
• A photograph of your face, taken with your device camera at registration.
• A face template: a set of numbers derived from that photograph, which describes your facial features. It cannot be turned back into a photograph.
HOW IT IS PROCESSED
All face detection and measurement happens on your own device. Your photograph is never sent to Google, Apple, or any other company. Motamot contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking software.
WHERE IT IS STORED
• Your registration photograph is stored on servers operated by CSL Software Resources Ltd on behalf of the Ex-Rotaractors Forum (ERF), located in Bangladesh. Access is restricted to authorised ERF election administrators.
• Your face template is stored only on your own device, in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore. It is never uploaded.
WHEN YOU SIGN IN
Your photograph is compared to your registration photograph on your device. The photograph taken at sign-in is not uploaded and is not kept.
SHARING
We do not sell, rent, or share your face data with any third party. It is not used for advertising or profiling.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Your face data is kept while your voter registration is active, and is deleted within 30 days of the election result being declared.
DELETING IT
You can delete your face data at any time from within the app, using “Delete My Registration” on the dashboard. This removes the face template from your device and permanently deletes your registration photograph from our servers.
